Alejandra Stallings is a financial services coordinator at the Center for Global Sustainability. She is a project and operations management professional with experience supporting and managing donor-funded programs—primarily USAID projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as county-funded programs in Prince George’s County, Maryland. She has a strong background in financial planning and budget oversight, procurement, stakeholder coordination and ensuring programs remain on schedule and in compliance.
Before joining the University of Maryland, Stallings worked at DAI, where she helped manage over $170 million in international development projects. Her work included traveling overseas to support project closedowns, conducting comprehensive audits, initiating budget realignments in close coordination with USAID and working closely with colleagues across different departments and time zones to solve problems and ensure operational efficiency.
She earned her B.A. in international studies with a minor in political science from Towson University, where she developed a passion for community engagement and international affairs. Stallings enjoys staying active, reading books and spending time with her family, friends and dog, Poco.
