Fulfilling America's Pledge: Findings and Opportunities

Location: US Climate Action Center, COP24, Katowice, Poland

When: Saturday, December 8, 2018

Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (CET)

Co-hosted by the Rocky Mountain Institute and America’s Pledge, this event will share the results from the recent Fulfilling America’s Pledge report with the international community. This even will provide additional context via practitioners, demonstrating how real economy actors such as states, cities, and businesses are able to make a difference in our US emissions trajectory; assessing opportunities to enhance subnational and non-state action globally, and how this might interact with raising ambition in advance of the Secretary General’s 2019 summit and 2020 COP.

Nate Hultman and Carla Frisch of the America's Pledge team will highlight the report findings, and engage with a broader set of panelists that represent actors from civil society: states, cities, and businesses can close the gap and deliver deeper greenhouse gas emission reductions. Tune into the event here.
