Please join the Center for Global Sustainability, Office of Sustainability, School of Public Policy Environmental Council, Beyond the Classroom, School of Public Health, and the Student Sustainability Committee of the SGA as we screen the “Inconvenient Sequel” on Friday, October 27, from 1:00 to 3:30 PM in Edward St. John Teaching and Learning Center (ESJ), Room 2208.

We will screen the movie from 1:00 to 2:45 and then host a panel discussion from 2:45 to 3:30 focusing on climate action at personal, campus, state, national, and international levels with:

  • Brooke Harper, Maryland and DC Policy Director, Chesapeake Climate Action Network
  • Michelle Kim, regional manager for Climate Reality Leader Engagement at the Climate Reality Project (Al Gore’s NGO which helped produce the film)
  • Willem Klajbor, UMD SGA director Sustainability
